Hello Thursday. I'm glad we have reached you in this long week.  Here we are again and linking up with Sar for Thursday Thoughts.

So huge news- Aaron got accepted as an apprentice with his construction company.  Which means he gets official training in his trade, gets to stay local for awhile (amen!) and is guaranteed 4-5 years with the company.  I am so gosh darn proud of him.

I just realized as I titled this post that yesterday was our one year and one month anniversary.  And I totally forgot.  Ha! I guess once you hit the one year mark, it all kind of blurs.  Oops.  Guess I'll have to send him a sweet text.  It's not like he remembered either.

I am covered in bug bites for last night.  But they are for a good reason.  The local seminary where I have spent years with the youth program has their yearly academy this week.  Which means some of my mentors and friends are in town to teach it.  So I got to spend two hours outside in adirondack chairs catching up.  One friend, Jenn, is like the sweetest person you'll ever meet.  She is originally from Texas, went to school in PA, and now lives in Tennessee with her hubby and sweet boy, Parker.  I love her. And I got to hang out with her last.  It was all sorts of delightful.

Tomorrow night Aaron and I are going to the carnival that's in town.  We went last year and did the following: ate way too much, ate fried oreos (not me), won $20 (also not me), and won a stuffed duck (again, not me.)  I am SO excited for this year's carnival.
