Thursday Thoughts 04.26.12

Hey y'all.  What a week it has been! I think it's time to chill for a moment (though I haven't done too much today) and link up with Sar & Thursday Thoughts.

So the big news of the week- I SIGNED A LEASE ON A NEW APARTMENT!!!  I have been in the midst of apartment hunting for a few weeks and was really starting to feel the pressure.  I talked to a man who needs a tenant/pet sitter for his 12 cats, dealt with some sketchball "realtors", and visited an apartment in an old funeral home.  So I was getting worried.  BUT-I got to check out this adorable efficiency apartment yesterday, decided in that moment that it was perfect for me, and signed the lease today.

The apartment- it's in downtown. And I can walk to my church. And to market. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I'm so in love with the downtown and I can't wait to explore it.  On my feet.  All summer long.

Today was so dreary and so lazy.  I was a little under the weather (coming down off of the adrenaline rush yesterday) so I worked on internship materials from home this morning, signed my lease, and got done too late to get to class on time. So it's been productive but lazy day.

My roomate made cupcakes for her boyfriend's birthday.  And she left some for me and Aaron. Best. roomate. ever!

Apparently I don't really have anything interesting to talk about except for my new home. Because it's so lovely and sweet and teeny. And it has a balcony. And a little courtyard.  Eeeee!

I'm thankful that the semester is almost over. Truly thankful.  Feeling blessed every second of the day but ready to be done.
