Finally Getting Around to My Answers

So about an eon ago (ok really the beginning of January) Sar at life of love tagged me in one of those blog posts with all the lovely questions.

Since most people have been tagged already and I'm already a decade behind in the answering-I'm just going to answer the questions Sar asked.

[questions from sar for the 11 people above to answer:]
[1] What's your favorite memory of 2012 thus far?
2012 has been really great so far.  To be honest, as minimal as it is, one of my favorite memories was go to Barnes and Noble with Aaron a few weekends ago and looking at iSpy books in the kids section.  It was just so sweet and cute and his idea.

[2] Did you make any resolutions? If so, how are they going?
I didn't make any resolutions last year.  Which is surprising because my 2011 resolutions started this blog (that eventually morphed in my ramblings on this fabulous life of mine).  But my resolution-if you could call it that-be healthy.  Live a healthy, happy life. Pretty simple.  And so far, I'm doing pretty darn good.

[3] What's the background picture on your phone or computer desktop?
My laptop- a picture of Aaron and I from when we went to see the Christmas lights at Rocky Ridge.
My cell phone- the outer screen is a picture of Aaron and I all dressed up for his company Christmas party.
The inner screen is a picture of a hot air balloon I took when A & I stumbled upon a hot air balloon festival. It's pretty gorgeous-see for yourself.

[4] After you log onto the internet, what is the first website you go to?
My gmail account is always first, then followed by blogger. What can I say-I'm hopeless.

[5] What is your favorite blog to read?
There's too many that I love and look forward to:
Lindsay at Hello Hue
but currently my favorite-o is Karen at Celebrate Life- she's a rocking mama who is stationed in Korea as an army wife, raising their little gem, Charlotte, who they adopted from Ukraine.  Karen is a freaking awesome mom and sews clothes and visits gorgeous places.  It's a fabulous read!

[6] If you could only listen to one song on repeat, what would you choose?
This changes like everyday.  But for today- Mat Kearney's new album is fantastic and my favorite song right now on there is Chasing the Light- I'd listen to that baby on repeat.

[7] What is your favorite part about living where you currently live?
I LOVE (yup with capitals) where I live.  I live in Pennsylvania Dutch Country and I literally can think of myself no where but here. It is beautiful and as someone focused on local, fresh foods- it is the perfect place for me.  I adore the fresh foods, the country roads, the Amish friends, and the fantastic downtown that has formed with art, music, and delicious restaurants.  This is why I am so excited to look for a job and a place to live in the area.

[8] What's one thing you've been most proud of recently?
I'm really proud of what I've been able to do at my church in the past few weeks.  One of my church teams has the grand task of putting together a large policy and I'm the one who is compiling the whole thing. And I got it done in the midst of midterms. I'm pretty darn proud of what our church is doing as a whole.

[9] When was the last time you did a random act of kindness?
I feel bad that I can't remember. I do try to do random acts of kindness and it was part of my Lenten journey last year to do that each day.  But I can't pinpoint a specific example from recently.

[10] What is one word/phrase you say entirely too often?
I get into moods where I say something on repeat for awhile. Yesterday, I called my dog a goober 3 times in like an hour.  But I usually rotate what I say constantly.

[11] What's your biggest pet peeve?
People who interupt other people.
People who stop walking in the middle of an aisle/walkway.
People who change the song that's playing when it's almost at the end.
People who slam doors.

Well this was fun!  I am watching What a Girl Wants on HBO and it's been a great backdrop to my blog writing.  It's 11:30 and I've had 2 cups of coffee and am still in my pjs. Great spring break.

Thanks Sar for the questions!
