It's Friday, Friday

(Anyone catch the little joke there in my title...name that tune)

So it is Friday and although hasn't been exactly what I planned, sometimes it's good for me, the queen of lists, plans, and organizers, to let a day be in control of itself.  Especially when that day involves a best friend, breakfast foods, Mean Cup coffee/chai, and some conversation.

1.   Nothing says fall like      pumpkins, mums, sweaters, scarecrow, and high school football (even though I've been out of high school for a few years)  .

2.   My favorite autumnal tradition is   carving pumpkins! Aaron and I are planning on doing so this Friday and nothing better kabosh those plans!      .

3.  My favorite fall treat is   anything with apples! I love apple crisp, apple pie, apple bread, apple fritters-yes you get it.  It was one reason why I LOVED going to the Apple Harvest Festival. I am not a huggeee pumpkin food lover but apples take its place.

4. Fall makes me think of    all things happy    because    it's my favorite season. Good things happy.  Fun things happen. It's that happy point where you're not so sick of school yet because you've only been back for a bit.  It's not too warm but you also aren't battling the snow and ice. .

5.  Autumn free form word association, go!    leaves, sweaters, riding boots, apples, pumpkins, boo, harvest, hot chocolate, pumpkin spice lattes, orange, love!

 

6.  My go-to outfit in the fall is    a pair of dark jeans, a cozy sweater, riding boots, and a scarf. I also have these awesome brown rosette earrings that I'm loving to wear with everything!

7.  My favorite fall holiday is (Halloween or Thanksgiving)    Thanksgiving. I tolerate Halloween but mostly hate being scared.  I love the family aspect of Thanksgiving.  It is my second favorite holiday and involves yummy foods and watching the Macy's Parade and back in the day, it was the annual football rivalry game.
