Friday Link-Up Day

Officially a week of records- I blogged 5 days in a row.  Ahh, sweet satisfaction. And I'm back with day 6 of the 15 day challenge with my buddy Sar. It's also time for High Five for Friday.  Because let's be real, who isn't pumped for the weekend?!

First up...
Today's prompt- What have you always wanted to do but haven't? Why not?

This is a tricky one.  I'm not someone who has a bucket list, though I used to. And I think it's because my likes and dislikes and hopes and fears change pretty much all the time. I used to want to go skydiving, but sometime around college, I developed a fear of heights.  I used to want to take dance lessons and while that sounds fun, I don't know if it's bucket list material.  I love to do little things that are special but I guess I'll have to work on a list of loftier goals.

In general, I would say travel more.  There are places I would love to go. But I haven't.  There are a few legitimate reasons for that one being money and two being that school/work haven't allowed for weeklong excursions to other countries.  However, another huge reason is my general travel anxiety.  My mom told me we could go anywhere we wanted for my graduation trip.  And European countries were considered.  But in the end, I wanted a relaxing, peaceful, anxiety-free trip and for me, that is Disney World.  Two-hour flight, bus that gets my luggage, and a resort system that I am beyond familiar with.  I even know where most of the bathrooms are located in all of the parks.  That brings me peace of mind.  So that's definitely something that has influenced me, but money/ability to vacation is also a factor.

Specifically, I'd love to go back to South Africa and Lesotho one day.  That's an expensive, VERY HIGH ANXIETY trip, but one that I would like to eventually conquer.

I'll be back later with my HF4F post.
