Weather Woes and Training Trials

Wow-what a downer of a title. Sorry. But it's honest.

So let's get one thing out there-it is now April 1st. It has officially been spring for a few days now. 
And this morning it snowed.
Something is wrong with this picture.
I am NOT ok with it.
I want it to be warm and sunny and I can break out the sandals.

I'm ready for sandal weather and today it snowed. UGH!


On to part two...
This week at the gym has sucked. Again, blunt.
But this blog is about attempting to reach my goals.
And well-everyone stumbles on that front too.
So I went to the gym on Tuesday with every intention of following a running program.  Granted, I hadn't run in awhile due to being sick. I couldn't even run for 5 minutes. My nose was running, my headphone cords were tangling up, and my shorts felt too short.  It was just not my day.  I almost left the gym after 10 minutes.  I didn't...I walked for a while longer. But I was miserable....and sobbed the whole ride home.

Frustrating, yes. Learning experience, definitely.  It was one day. One bad day.
Today I went to the gym and biked 6 miles in 30 minutes.  That felt pretty darn good.

  1. Proud of you <3 everybody has off days. but remember who you are whose you are and off days are going to seem like the best days of your life. I love you and am so proud of you.
